Annette is an exciting artist from the Central Desert region, Northern Territory. She is a member of a well-known artistic family and is the daughter of artist Margaret Davis Kemarre, with whom she lives. Like her mother, Annette paints the all important bush tucker and desert flowers of their harsh and arid homelands and depicting the subject matters in a most delicate, intricate and attractive format.

Annette’s approach to her work stems from her Traditional heritage and she has already made a wonderful contribution to continuing the grass roots style made famous by such renowned artists as the late Eunice Napangardi who painted with Clifford Possum Tjapaltjari at the very beginning of the desert art movement, with unique artworks featuring the Bush Banana with detailed style and complex composition.
