This is Nora’s father’s country, called Kunawarritji, south-west of Balgo on the Canning Stock Route.
Mirrajung is a rockhole depicted in the centre of the painting.
The lines running the length of the work represent killiki (creeks) with an abundance
of bush tucker in the area.
