Kalumburu & The Karadadas

Kalumburu is the most northern town/settlement in all of Western Australia.

It is part of the region known as The Kimberley. Kulumburu is home to the famous Karadada family. They are known for their painting of Wandjina’s!

Wandjina’s are powerful ancient ancestral type beings. Lily Karadada is the matriarch of the family and the most famous of the Wandjina artists. Other family members included Roslyn, Rossie, Rosie, Angelina, Regina and Louis
