We work directly with the artists of the Kimberley region, which includes Kalumburu, Kununurra and Warmun (Turkey Creek). These artists are listed under Ochre Artists. We have known them and their families for many years and are fortunate enough to count them as close friends. We purchase directly from these artists, which not only provides them with a direct and immediate income but also supports our local Community.
Art from other areas, such as the Central and Western Desert Artists in acrylic medium, is sourced from well respected Art Centres and our Aboriginal Art Associates who reside in these remote areas, as well as directly from artists in these areas who we have also known for many years. A presentation of images depicting the famous corroboree emanating from a series of visitations described by the late Rover Thomas.
